Witch

Myrtle Beach Golf course video player.

Winding its way through a dreamland of natural wetlands and undisturbed woodlands, this elemental enchantress appears to have been carved by nature's hand. Boasting over 4000 feet of wooden bridges spanning acres of wetlands, Dan Maples has again fashioned a magical treat for all. Keeping the wetlands intact as the perfect natural hazard, a relatively flat front 9 built in and around the wetlands is followed by a "hilly" back 9 with drops in elevation of 35 feet or more as evident on number 17 with its downhill shot to the green. An extravaganza of wildlife can be spotted at any time; deer, ducks, black bears, eagles and even an occasional alligator or two. With a different challenge waiting at every turn the Witch will put you under her spell. A par 71, the Witch is sloped at 133 with a course rating of 71.2 rating.

Not a long course, it plays 6796 yards from the Black tees with Tifdwarf Bermuda Greens. Keeping with the Halloween theme, the tee markers are orange, black and white. Be on the lookout for the 3 cardboard witches flying across the driving range that are holding the distance signs.
