TPC Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach Golf course video player.

Awarded 5 stars by Golf Digest, The TPC Myrtle Beach is the only course in Myrtle Beach, and only one of seventeen courses in the Unites States, that was afforded such an honor. Designed by course magician Tom Fazio, the TPC of Myrtle Beach is a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary offering refuge to many. Egrets, great blue herons, swans, turkeys, American eagles, deer and even the occasional alligator are all known to make an appearance from time to time. Carolina Pines, unspoiled wetlands, natural flora and fauna including a profusion of Lowcountry grasses only add to the splendor of this championship caliber course. The finishing touch is the par-5 eighteenth hole where a large lake and "Wadkin's Creek," named after PGA consultant Lanny Wadkins, come into play, all topped off by the two-tiered green and the rustic 20,000 square-foot clubhouse.

A par 72 measuring 6600 yards from the Gold tees, the TPC is sloped at 136 with a 72.2 course rating. The greens were recently converted to Mini-Verde Ultra-Dwarf Bermuda Grass, the same that is found on the TPC at Sawgrass. You've played the rest, now play the best.
