River Hills Golf and Country Club
Designed by Tom Jackson with a blend of modern and traditional elements River Hills is a player friendly course steeped with tradition. This parkland style course tumbles across the picturesque natural rolling terrain with frequent 40-foot elevation changes, and just enough water to keep it exciting. The tree-lined non-parallel fairways are safely nestled among the dogwoods, maples, live oaks, cypress and pines, especially on the back nine. The recent $2 million dollar renovations have only gone towards improving an already unforgettable course. The enlarged tees afford greater teeing areas; the re-worked bunkers have improved visibility on the fairways cutting down on blind shots and the enhanced sand hazards have improved the pace of play.
River Hills is a par 72 playing 6923 yards from the Championship tees, has a slope of 136, a course rating of 73.3 and Champion Bermuda grass blanket the greens. The staff prides itself on quality customer service and Southern hospitality all of which provides a remarkable golfing experience.
