Magnolia Greens Golf Club

Magnolia Greens Golf Club

This Tom Jackson signature course is actually three sets of 9 holes (the Magnolia, the Camilla, and the Azalea courses). Magnolia Greens Golf Club is a little farther away from Myrtle Beach than some of the other courses you might be considering, but the drive up the 4-lane Highway 17 goes quickly, and the luxury course is certainly worth your time. “Challenging” and “fun” are the two key words describing many players’ experiences because the greens are well-protected with sand bunkers and water hazards.

As you reach each green, hit lofty approach shots to limit rolling on the lightening-fast greens. Also, try to guard against losing balls in the heavy rough, especially because the mounds in the fairways can steer them in odd directions. Other amenities at the course include an array of practice facilities, an on-site golf school, a luxurious club house and pro shop.

Magnolia Greens is a 27-hole, par -72 course with Bermuda fairways and G2 L93 Bentgrass greens. Because you will select from the 3 sets of 9-holed courses, yardage ranges from 3422 to 3585. The course rating varies from 73.5 to 74.2, and the slope rating is 134 to 138.
