Island Green Country Club

Known as an established and favorite golf course among players who live here, as well as players who have been visiting for years, Island Green is especially post-card-ready in spring because of its multitude of azaleas and dogwoods, but expect the course to be ready for your golfing experience at any time of year. Located in a pastoral landscape near Surfside and Garden City, in the south of Grand Strand, the course is a featured part of the gated community of Dogwood Estates. Besides the namesake finishing hole with its island green, the course challenges players of all skill levels with some island and peninsula greens, making an interesting game for anyone in your foursome.

William Mooney designed Island Green, a 6382-yard, par-72, 18-hole course with a rolling topography, tree-lined fairways, and 14 water holes. Its slope rating is 133, and its course rating is 70.7.
