Heritage Club

Myrtle Beach Golf course video player.

Built on the former site of not one but two historic rice plantations, the Heritage exudes the look and feel of the Old South. An avenue of live oaks, some as old as 300 years, lead up to the Colonial style clubhouse containing a spiral staircase just waiting for Scarlett O'Hara to descend. Overlooking the Waccamaw River, this well planned, strikingly beautiful course showcases rows of trees draped with Spanish moss, giant Magnolia trees, huge multileveled undulating greens and an abundance of ponds & marsh. One of the prettiest and hardest par 4's on the Strand, the 14th hole, forces players to gamble on how much water to carry while another hole requires a long iron shot over an old slave cemetery. The round culminates with the exciting 18th hole with the river to the right that sneaks into your path right in front of the green.

Measuring 7118 yards from the Championship tees, the Heritage is sloped at 145 with a 75.3 rating, Bermuda grass adorn the greens on this immaculately conditioned par 71 course. This exceptional course is worth the drive. Expect to be impressed.
