Glen Dornoch Golf Links

Located at the northern end of Myrtle Beach's Grand Strand in the town of Little River, Glen Dornoch was created as a tribute to Dornoch, Scotland, the birthplace of golf legend Donald Ross. Blessed with a natural elevation change uncommon for a coastal golf course, each hole flows with the natural terrain of sparkling lakes, ancient live oaks, massive magnolias and spectacular marsh and water views. Pot bunkers with Zoysia grass enhance nearly every hole, while waste areas lined with native grasses are common. Superb conditioning is one of the hallmarks of this course. At least 4 holes border one of the most scenic stretches of South Carolina's Intracoastal Waterway where you can stop and watch the occasional boat dance lazily up the waterway.

A relatively short course measuring 6890 yards from the Black tees, Glen Dornoch is a par 72 incorporating Bermuda Greens. Sloped at 145 with a 73.1 course rating, there are no wide-open fairways so you will need to bring your most accurate game as the final holes have been touted as 3 of the most difficult closing holes on the Strand. Glen Dornoch is as enjoyable to play as it is to look at.
