Carolina National Golf Club

Carolina National Golf Club

A Fred Couples signature course, Carolina National Golf Club rests in the low country marshes of eastern North Carolina adjacent to the Lockwood Folly River. This coastal course fully utilizes the scenic wetlands and is enhanced further by 400 year old live oaks, a multitude of magnolia and pine trees with few of them coming into play. There are some forced carries over the wetlands, deep pot bunkers, generous fairways, and large severely undulating greens. An Audubon-Certified Sanctuary Golf Course maintaining a refuge for wildlife, each of its three distinctive nines are appropriately named after the native water birds that make the course their home; Egret, Heron and Ibis.

This magnificent course has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the finest courses on the eastern seaboard. Carolina National plays a little over 7000 yards from the Championship tees. The 3 nines are sloped between 123 & 124 with a course rating of 68.2 to 69.2. Crenshaw Bent grass was used to line the greens. This unique design offers a wide variety of shot options for golfers of all calibers. Spend a fabulous day with Fred!
