Burning Ridge East

Myrtle Beach Golf course video player.

Awarded the distinction of being the 2006 Beach Course of the Year, also number one course in South Carolina the same year, Burning Ridge Golf Course-East features half of its hole near water, yet nearly all 18 holes with some degree of menacing s sand through tall trees as its chief but playable challenge during your golf match. Enjoy the 40-minute drive out to Conway, SC, where your golf experience begins.

The wide fairways and green side bunkers add to the reasons why you will need your wits about you when you play Burning Ridge, but its tee placements are friendly, especially to women. Designed by Gene Hamm, the course boasts beautiful fairway mounds of varying sizes, smooth yet protected greens, and the promise of low scores, that is if you keep your ball where it is supposed to be.

Those huge bunkers will try your patience, though, but with some clever club selection and imperturbable thinking, you can achieve a decent score. At the game’s end, if you will feel your golfing skills hurting from the test, stop in to the golf club house where a friendly staff can help ease the pain with a tasty snack and beverage.

Burning Ridge-East has GPS-equipped golf carts. At 6780 yards with Bermuda on the fairways and Tifeagle on the greens, Burning Ridge-East is a par 72 course of 18 holes, featuring a slope rating of 128 and a course rating of 73.9.
