Brunswick Plantation and Golf Resort

Myrtle Beach Golf course video player.

Just a few minutes away from the sleepy village of Calabash you will find Brunswick Plantation and Golf Resort. This 27-hole marvel received a face-lift a couple of years ago with the addition of 300 new trees, 2,000 azaleas, 3,000 ornamental grasses, new bridges, 3 new sand bunkers were added and several grass bunkers were reshaped. Each of its 3 nines has a completely different feel to them. The Magnolia nine has the characteristics of a Scottish links course and The Dogwood Golf Course rambles beside the shores of Caw Caw Run in between the hardwood trees. The Azalea Golf Course uses the Carolina woods as its serene setting and features the courses signature hole that features an island green, accessed by a bridge and surrounded by oyster shells.

Brunswick Plantation is a par 72 playing 6845 yards at its longest from the Championship tees, is rated at 72.7 to 73.1 and has slope ratings of 133 and 134. During the renovations all 27 greens were re-carpeted with Champions Bermuda Grass that is more capable of handling the Southern heat. This wonderful course would be a welcome addition to any package.
