Beachwood Golf Club

Beachwood Golf Club

Tucked away in the heart of North Myrtle Beach you will find Beachwood Golf Club. Built in the late 60's, Beachwood has built its reputation on being one of the best conditioned courses in the area. The tall pines and huge hardwoods stand like sentinels along the side of each hole guarding against wayward shots. The spacious fairways, little rough and large greens make this a very player friendly course especially for women and seniors. Beachwood's signature hole is the 18th. This difficult par 3 is a 239 yard monster requiring a tee shot over a large pond with a water fountain sitting right in the middle. A long, precise shot is needed to reach the green which is guarded by three well-placed bunkers and more water to the right.

This par 72 measures 6844 yards from the Championship tees, Beachwood is sloped at 120 with a course rating of 71.4. Bermuda grass covers the greens. This is a wonderful starter course, very affordable and would be an asset to any package.
