Barefoot Resort and Golf - The Love Course
The Love course at Barefoot Resort is considered to be one of Davis Love III's finest courses. Described as a traditional course with Lowcountry character, this visually striking and fun to play course features the replicated ruins from a 17th century Plantation house located on the 294 yard 4th that are similar to the ruins found along holes in Scotland and Ireland. The wide-open fairways and generous landing areas make the course playable and offer a multitude of shot choices, but beware the turtleback greens, similar to the crowned surfaces at Pinehurst #2. A long ball hitters dream, this course's finale is the tricky 596 yard 18th hole with water in play, so tee them up and let them fly! Again voted #1 on Golf Digest's list of the "Top 50 Courses in Myrtle Beach," this unique course is a must play for all lovers of the game.
Playing 7047 yards from the Platinum tees, this par 72 course has A1 Bentgrass greens, sloped at 138, with a course rating of 73.9. The Love Course at Barefoot encompasses the best Myrtle Beach has to offer.
