Azalea Sands

Azalea Sands

Considered a user-friendly public course right here in North Myrtle Beach, Azalea Sands allows players of all levels to enjoy a day on the fairways. Designed by Gene Hamm, it is kept in consistently good shape with reliably nice greens, so much so that players often comment that, while it offers a golfing challenge, the course is “good value for money” which helps especially if your entire reason for coming to the Strand is to play golf. Walking is allowed after 11 am, and playing from the Black tees adds an extra test, and you will take pride at the end of the game in your ability to handle the twists and turns of the tree-lined fairways.

At 6902 yards, this 18 hole, par 72-course includes Tifdwarf Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 123 with a course rating of 72.5.
